Nawaf Al Marzooqi is an Emirati government executive with 20+ years in government transformation, service development and large-team leadership, and a recipient of national awards for zero bureaucracy and innovation.

Long bio

Nawaf Al Marzooqi is an Emirati government executive with more than twenty years in large-scale operations, service development and institutional transformation. He began his career as an officer in the UAE Armed Forces, then led strategy and policy at the Ministry of Defence and human-capital portfolios before focusing on national-scale government service development. He currently leads a team of 160+ across national tax-registration operations. With his team he redesigned service journeys, cutting processing time from 30 minutes to one, and he was the first Emirati to develop corporate-tax registration processes in the UAE. His recognitions include the Zero Government Bureaucracy Award (first cycle) and Tax Leader of the Year 2026. He holds a Master of Quality Management from the University of Wollongong in Dubai and is an ASQ Certified Quality Manager.
